Nov 21, 2006 (newstodate): Montenegro's Master Airways is still stuck on the ground due lack of permits.
The carrier, a lcc set up by Montenegro Airlines, would be based at Nis Airport, Serbia, but the Serb CAA has banned its flights from Nis Constantine the Great Airport.
Currently operating one Fokker 100 aircraft, the carrier had planned a route network comprising flights to destinations in France, Germany and Switzerland, in addition to Serb and Montenegrine airports.
Master Airways has appealed the CAA decision, and a decision remains pending.
