Nov 29, 2006 (newstodate): German lcc Germanwings has announced a number of new destinations to be opened from next year, including several in East and Central Europe.
Among the new routes out of Cologne/Bonn Airport are thrice-weekly flights to Bourgas from May 22, thrice weekly to Bucharest Baneasa from March 25, Sarajevo thrice weekly from March 25, thrice weekly to Sofia from March 27, once weekly to Varna from May 19, and once weekly to Zadar, Croatia, from March 31.
The carrier will also introduce weekly flights from Berlin Schoenefeld to Bourgas from May 20, and twice weekly to Sarmellek, Hungary, from July 6.
