Nov 22, 2006 (newstodate): Penauille Servisair has decided to close down handling operations at Copenhagen Airport, leaving the market to SAS, Novia and Nordic Aero.
Servisair's current customer portfolio comprises British Airways, Finnair, Swiss, SN Brussels, easyJet and TAP.
SN Brussels has earlier announced the decision to change to handling by Novia from the end of the year, while British Airways and Finnair will open a tender for the future handling at the airport.
Sources say Nordic Aero that launched operations at Copenhagen Airport only this summer to serve Sterling will take over current Servisair customers, but the company refuses to comment on this.
-A press release will be issued at 4 p.m. today, and no comments will be available before then, says Arri Kallonen, NBordic Aero managing director.
