Nov 28, 2006 (newstodate): At a meeting in Stockholm on November 29, CASS Nordic will review the potentials for expanding its services to comprise Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Taking part in the meeting will be representatives of the airlines involved in the Baltic air cargo markets.
-Based on earlier indications, there seems to be a marked interest among the airlines to introduce CASS accounting services in the Baltic markets. But as few airlines have own representatives there, the development will hinge on the attitude among their GSAs, says Ulla Nilson, CASS Nordic manager.
-With the Baltic countries within EU, airlines would benefit from basing their business on the joint EU procedures, rather than having to sign bi-lateral agreements in each case, says Ms Nilson.
