Nov 28, 2006 (newstodate): Faroese carrier Atlantic Airways is still in the market for a BAe 146 or Avro RJ100 aircraft to replace the aircraft lost at the recent fatal accident in Norway.
The carrier hopes soon to finalise a deal for an aircraft to complete its current fleet of of five BAe 146-200/Avro RJ100 aircraft used on routes to destinations in Scandinavia and the UK.
The carrier has been supported by Flight Line on its services to Norway, and otherwise leased extra ad-hoc aircraft capacity as needed.
