Nov 17, 2006 (newstodate): The Armenian carrier Armavia has opened a new route between Armenia and Belarus.
The new route is operated once weekly between Yerevan and Minsk and complements a similar once-weekly route operated by Belavia of Belarus.
Set up in 1996, Armavia currently operates three Airbus A-320, one YAK-42, one AN-24 and two leased TU-154 aircraft on a route network comprising 60 weekly regular flights to 29 destinations in 12 countries.
