Nov 7, 2006 (newstodate): Aeroflot expects its cargo volumes in 2006 to grow significantly over last year's figures.
In 2006 the carrier lifted a total of 53,000 tonnes, and based on the figures for the last three quarters and the coming winter and Christmas business, the company is convinced that its growth rate for 2006 will be significantly higher than for previous years.
Now with its own AOC, ZAO Aeroflot Cargo plans to take delivery of its first MD-11F aircraft at the beginning of July 2007, with two more to follow in September and November respectively, and the last three to arrive in 2008
