Oct 27, 2006 (newstodate): The Ukrainian Aviation Transport Company, a state enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, is seeing strong growth in business with international military and peace keeping operations.
During the first six months of this year, the carrier has lifted 9,000 tonnes of cargo compared to 6,000 tonnes in H1, 2005.
The operations included 55 flights for NATO forces into Afghanistan, and 34 flights for SHIRBRIG, the multinational brigade for United Nations operations.
