Oct 5, 2006 (newstodate): Czech Airlines CSA has decided to sell its new cargo terminal at Prague Ruzyne airport.
The decision is a results of an evalutation of the company's non-core businesses that can be sliced-off to enhance the focus on the main air transport-related core businesses.
The cargo operation divestment will be divided into two parts: the cargo terminal will be put up for sale by CSA but the company will retain cargo transport on CSA aircraft.
Prospective investors in the cargo terminal will be contacted in October, and a contract with the eventual buyer will secure continued services to CSA Cargo.
CSA expects the tender process to be concluded in February, 2007.
Also up for sale is CSA's catering business at Prague.
