Oct 2, 2006 (newstodate): Fledling Serb lcc Centavia plans to start scheduled flights from October 21.
The first route will be from Belgrade to Basel, but a number of other European destinations including Hamburg and Bonn/Cologne are in the pipeline.
The carrier, managed by Predrag Vujovic, former JAT CEO, has leased two BAe 146 aircraft from BAE Systems and is already operating charter flights to holiday destinations.
