Oct 27, 2006 (newstodate): Poland's Katowice Airport is planning for continued cargo growth.
The target for 2006 is 6,500 tonnes of air cargo against 5,636 tonnes in 2005.
In its long-term forecast, the airport expects to rise to a total of 11,100 tonnes by 2015.
The number of destinions out of Katowice Airport keeps rising, but the growth in operations is mainly generated by low cost carriers with little impact on airfreight developments.
