Oct 26, 2006 (newstodate): The low cost carrier Iceland Express is planning for a major expansion of its traffic program from summer 2007.
The carrier has announced plans for adding six new destinations to its network, including flights between Keflavik and Paris, Basel, Eindhoven, Billund, Oslo and Bergen.
Already in the program are routes to Copenhagen, London, Alicante, Berlin, Frankfurt, Friedrichshafen, Gothenburg and Stockholm.
Icelandair Express first took to the air in 2003 and now has an aircraft fleet comprising three Boeing MD-90, with flight operations provided by Swiss company Hello AG.
