Oct 20, 2006 (newstodate): Finnair Cargo is working hard to keep its Asian cargo traffic open during the ongoing strike among the carrier's cabin attendants that has brought passenger flights to a stand-still.
For tomorrow the airline is planning one cargo flight to Tokyo, one to Shanghai, and one to Beijing.
Flight programs will be decided on a day-to-day basis, the carrier says.
All cargo flights are performed with the carrier's MD-11 aircraft, operated without passengers and offering a maximum capacity of 40-45 tonnes, or 100-150 cubic metres.
