Oct 17, 2006 (newstodate): From March 30, 2007, the Faroese carrier Atlantic Airways plans to start a new route between Denmark and Iceland.
The route will connect Billund Airport with Keflavik Airport, with a stop at Vagar Airport, the Faroe Islands.
During the shoulder seasons, the route will be operated once weekly, increasing to five flights a week during the summer peak.
