Oct 10, 2006 (newstodate): The Russian Tatarstan airline Nur-Avia is planning to acquire six Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft.
The aircraft will be placed under a lease agreement with ALG, with the first aircraft to be delivered early 2007, and the remaining to be negotiated before the end of the year.
Tatarstan also proposes establishing a joint venture to provide technical maintenance of Bombardier aircraft in Russia.
Nur-avia's 10-year business plan further contains acquisition of 25 Russian-built regional aircraft, which is a prerequisite to obtaining favcorable taxation of the import of the western aircraft.
