Oct 11, 2006 (newstodate): The Belarus Mogilev Airport has now been certified to accept aircraft up to the size of Boeing 737-500, Boeing 737-800, and Boeing 757.
The airport has completed the renovation of its runway system, and after a future overhaul planned for 2010 the airport will accomodate even larger aircraft.
The airport, primarily focusing on cargo operations, is serving the Mogilev free economic zone and generated more than 30 IL-76 operations during the period January-August.
Mogilev is Belarusia's third largest industrial, scientific and cultural center.
