Jan 26, 2006 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Transaero has been designated by the Russian authorities to operate a new twice-weekly route between Moscow and Toronto from this summer.
Already since May, 2005, the carrier has been operating the route between Moscow and Montreal.
The route to Toronto will be flown with Boeing 767 and Boeing 747 aircraft.
Transaero now has seven Boeing 767 and three Boeing 747 aircraft in its fleet, with further acquisitions in the pipeline.
