Jan 5, 2006 (newstodate): TNT has signed a contract for delivery of two more Boeing 737-300SF freighters.
One aircraft will join the fleet from August, the other from December, bringing the total number of the type to nine.
The two aircraft will replace leased aircraft, and will be introduced to serve the European network.
TNT now operates its first Boeing 757 freighter on a lease arrangement with Icelandair Cargo, and expects to receive its first Boeing 747-400ERF freighter on a 10-year lease arrangement with Guggenheim Aviation Partners by the end of 2006.
