Jan 19, 2006 (newstodate): Hopes for a decision on a new SAS Cargo terminal at Stockholm Arlanda before the end of 2005 were not fulfilled.
-The situation remains unchanged, but we will meet with NAP, a joint venture between Swedish CAA and Airis, again by early February to resume negotiations, says Anders Skantz, president for Spirit Air Cargo handling AB, SAS Cargo's handling subsidiary.
After a stalemate since summer 2005, talks resumed in November, and Karsten Bjarbo, LFV Stockholm Arlanda cargo manager, told newstodate that he expected "an agreement even before the end of this year (2005)".
NAP has long held a plan for the construction of a new 20-25,000 sq.m. terminal dedicated to SAS Cargo.
