Jan 24, 2006 (newstodate): The Slovakian lcc SkyEurope will receive its first of a total of 32 new Boeing 737-700 aircraft from March this year.
Starting operations in 2002, the airline has since transported a total of 3,025,855 passenger on its fleet now comprising 15 aircraft serving a route network of 64 routes to 38 European destinations in 19 countries.
SkyEurope's aircraft order in 2005 comprises 16 deliveries in 2006 and 2007, with 16 options for aircraft to be delivered in 2008 and 2009, all based on a lease arrangement with GECAS.
