Jan 20, 2006 (newstodate): The Slovak government has called for an extra round in the tender for a 66 percent stake in Bratislava and Kosice Airports.
The TwoOne cponsortium comprising the Slovak capital group Penta, Vienna Airport and Austria's Raiffeisen Zentralbank, emerged as the winner - but with a very thin margin.
A second, decisive round has therefore been announced, with price as the sole determinator.
TwoOne will thus face the No 2 from the first round, the consortium comprising the Spanish Abertis Infraestructuras, the British TBI, and another Slovak capital group, J&T.
The final decision will then be announced on January 27, 2006.
