Jan 12, 2006 (newstodate): As the first Russian airline to introduce the Boeing Jumbo from July, 2005, Transaero now operates a fleet of three Boeing 747 aircraft.
The aircraft are used on Transaero's routes to China, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, India and Bangkok.
Among its qualities the airline is especially happy with its fuel efficiency that compares favourably with Russian aircraft.
The carrier plans soon to take on a fourth aircraft of this type.
