Jan 20, 2006 (newstodate): The Russian airline Ural Airlines, baed at Ekaterinburg, plans to continue the expansion of its aircraft fleet in 2006.
The carrier is currently negotiating the lease of its first Airbus aircraft - two Airbus A320 for delivery later this year.
In 2005 the carrier acquired two IL-86 and leased one TU-134 aircraft.
Among 199 Russian airlines Ural Airlines is placed as No 8 as to passenger volumes that reached a total of 907,000 in 2005, comprising 545,000 domestic, 297,000 international, and 65,000 CIS flights passengers.
