Jan 2, 2006 (newstodate): A new airline, Central Airlines is being established in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The projected company will take to the air from June this summer, and plans for both scheduled and charter operations from Slovakia.
The carrier is currently seeking lease of passenger aircraft including one B737-400, B727, MD-80 or TU-154M for the start-up period from June to September, and one B737-800 or B757-200 for a three-years period.
For cargo operations, the new carrier is in the market to lease one one B707F, DC-8F or IL-76 aircraft for the period September, 2006, to June, 2007.
