Jan 12, 2006 (newstodate): Hungarian lcc Wizz Air has selected Malmoe Sturup Airport as point of departure for a new route to Kaunas, Lithuania.
The new route, to be served three times weekly, will start from March 27, 2006.
Since September, 2004, Wizz Air has operated from the airport to Budapest and Warsaw, providing the Oresund Region in Denmark and Sweden with a low cost alternative to flights from Copenhagen Airport.
