Jan 30, 2006 (newstodate): Ukrainean capital airport of Kiev Boryspil is preparing to modernise and expand its facilities.
Backed by a Japanese grant of 178 million US dollars, secured in March, 2005, the airport will build a new passenger terminal D.
Also included in the plans are a new apron area, and new aircraft taxiways to boost the operational capacity.
