Jan 27, 2006 (newstodate): From May, Finnair plans to increase services between Helsinki and St Petersburg.
Using Embraer 170 aircraft, the carrier will up frequency on the route from currently seven to a total of ten weekly flights.
Besides serving the growing market demand in the two cities for frequent flights, the increase in operations will also provide better access from St Petersburg to a wide range of European destinations via Helsinki, as well as access to traffic between the Far East and St Petersburg, the carrier says.
