Jan 4, 2006 (newstodate): Bulgaria's airlines plans for a major intake of new aircraft in 2006.
Bulgaria Air will add three more Boeing 737 aircraft in addition to the eight aircraft already in the fleet.
Privately-owned Hemus Air plans to add six Boeing 737 and BAe 146 aircraft, while Bulgarian Air Charter is also considering acquiring more aircraft this year.
The new aircraft will create a need for some 50 commercial pilots that are in short supply in Bulgaria.
