Jan 19, 2006 (newstodate): BAWC welcomes any freight forwarder or cargo partner in Lithuania to air opinions and share experience concerning pertinent cargo GSA issues.
-We would of course not tolerate a situation where we lost, say, half of the market in Lithuania due to alleged irregularities or misconduct on the part of our cargo GSA, Konekta, says Pawel Kazmierczak, BAWC manager Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia and Lithuania.
-We have worked with Konekta since our first entry into the market and have reconfirmed this cooperation as we are now back after a period of suspension of services, he says.
-We have already discussed the current situation with Konekta that has reassured us that they maintain full confidentiality and a strict line of demarcation between their freight forwarding and GSA business, allowing no sharing of information between the two.
-Should any freight forwarder have evidence or experiences to prove the opposite, I would be more than happy to share it, and we would of course take appropriate action as warranted by the validity of the information provided, says Mr Kazmierczak.
