Jan 12, 2006 (newstodate): Aeroflot has announced some of its ambitions for 2006.
Among these are a 6.7 percent increase of passenger traffic, 5.4 percent growth of tonne-kilometers, 4.2 percent rise of passenger-kilometers, and a 12.2 percent increase in revenues.
The airline plans to increase frequency on a number of domestic routes, including flights to St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Volgograd, Irkutsk, and Novosibirsk.
Frequency will also increase on flights to international destinations including Beijing, Shanghai, Simferopol, Baku, Athens, Belgrade, Dusseldorf, and Vienna.
Aeroflot will also consider the possibility of resuming flights to Hanoi, suspended since the grounding of Aeroflot's IL-96-300 fleet.
