SEP 30, 2005 (newstodate): Russian airline Transaero has signed an aircraft lease agreement with Pegasus Aviation Finance Company for six Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The aircraft will be delivered in 2006 and be on the roster for seven years, with first delivery in July, 2006.
Transaero currently operates seven Boeing 767 and six Boeing 737 Classic aircraft in addition to two Boeing 747 aircraft. Plans are to add a further two 747s at a later stage.
