SEP 16, 2005 (newstodate): Russian carrier Transaero has signed a deal with Boeing for delivery of six Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Under a seven-yers lease contract, the first aircraft will enter Transaero's fleet from july 2006.
Transaero currently operates seven Boeing 767 and six Boeing 737 Classic aircraft in addition to two Boeing 747 aircraft. Plans are to add a further two 747s at a later stage.
