SEP 06, 2005 (newstodate): The Swedish carrier SWE FLY has stopped all flights since Friday, September 2, due to a financial crisis.
-The owners of SWE FLY have not been able to finance the operations, and the company has been forced to cancel all flights, the company says.
Curators are now weeking ways of re-financing the airline that operates, since May 19, a Boeing 747 flight from Stockholm Skavsta to Lahore, Pakistan, with feeder lines from London Luton, and the Scandinavian capitals.
The carrier was also making preparations, now stalled, for the launch of a new Stockholm-Bangkok route from December 8 based on the lease of a second Boeing 747 aircraft.
