SEP 23, 2005 (newstodate): With effect from October 4, Swedish in-night express cargo company Nordic Solution will move its traffic from Stockholm Skavsta Airport to Orebro Airport.
Traffic remains the four weekly operations with SAAB 340 converted freighters.
-Orebro is strategically well positioned, allowing for easy access to industries in the region and the Stockholm area, while also securing fast lead-times for deliveries to Oslo, says Bengt Thuner, Nordic Solutions owner and chairman.
With this decision, Orebro has secured its position as Sweden's fourth largest cargo airport, also served by TNT.
-We are actively working to grow our airfreight business. We are happy to see the Nordic Solution, a new and aggressive orgainsation, joining TNT as a regular customer, says Peter Ornberg, Orebro Airport operations manager.
