SEP 01, 2005 (newstodate): Swedish-owned Nordic in-night express company Nordic Solutions is planning for continued rapid expansion after consolidating its current network.
-In the pipeline are plans for new in-night express shipment services from our base at Vilnius, Lithuania, to Moscow and Minsk, Belorusia, says Anders Silvstrand, Nordic Solutions CEO.
To facilitate this expansion, the company will place orders with SAAB for delivery in 2006 of three converted SAAB 340 freighters, doubling the current fleet of three ex-Skyways converted SAAB 340 freighters that are all based in Vilnius and registered in Lithuania.
Nordic Solutions offers late evening pick-up of shipments in the Central and South European markets with delivery times before eight the next morning in Scandinavia, before 10 in Lithuania, and by next day in the other Baltic markets.
Nordic Solutions operates at Baden Airport in southern Germany, Malmoe and Stockholm Airports in Sweden, and Vilnius, Lithuania.
