SEP 30, 2005 (newstodate): Malev may drastically reduce its aircraft fleet in a move to cut some of the debts now plaguing the carrier.
Already aired two years ago, the carrier's CEO has reportedly again said that the airline may sell its two Boeing 767 longrange aircraft and its six CRJ-200 aircraft, leaving it with a fleet only comprising the 18 Boeing 737 aircraft serving regional routes, including five 737-800, seven -700 and six -600, and its Fokker F-70 aircraft for shorthaul flights.
