SEP 05, 2005 (newstodate): Kazakhstan privately-owned airline Air Astana is not too happy with its Fokker F-50 aircraft.
The carrier is reportedly considering terminating the lease agreement for five F-50 aircraft before the expiry of the contract due to an unforeseen number of technical problems and low regularity.
The aircraft were taken on a three years lease arrangement in 2004.
Air Astana today operates an aircraft fleet also comprising one Boeing-737-800, two Boeing 737-700, and three Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
