SEP 21, 2005 (newstodate): flyLAL is the new trademark of Lithuanian Airlines.
The carrier recently completed its privatisation process, and is now owned by a consortium comprising IT company Fima, its subsidiary Tez Tour and Lithuanian carrrier Aurela.
As part of its restructuring, the carrier has turned its Ground Handling Department into a separate company, Baltic Ground Services fully onwed by LAL Investicij� Valdymas, the holder of all shares of Lithuanian Airlines.
Plans are to set up Baltic Ground Services in Palanga, in addition to the current services at Vilnius and Kaunas.
