SEP 27, 2005 (newstodate): Swedish carrier SWE-FLY seems to have reached its ultimate stop after cancelling flights since September 2 due to financial troubles.
The airline has now ceased all business transactions, and its Boeing 767 pilots have been laid off, while the leased aircraft has been returned to its owners.
On May 19, the carrier launched Boeing 767 flights from Stockholm Skavsta to Lahore, Pakistan, with feeder lines from London Luton, and the Scandinavian capitals, and also had plans for a new route to Bangkok from December 8.
