SEP 30, 2005 (newstodate): On Thursday evening, the striking workers at Boeing agreed to a new labour contract, and the strike is now being terminated.
The strike lasted four weeks and caused serious disruptions to planned deliveries of aircraft, including the 15th Boeing 747-400F freighter to Singapore Airlines Cargo that depended on it for the launch of its planned new freighter route between Chicago and Singapore via Copenhagen and Indian destinations Delhi and Bangalore, slated for launch by September 22.
Boeing's aircraft delivery program will now be re-schedueled as production resumes.
