SEP 21, 2005 (newstodate): Belgrade Airport has completed the construction of its new international arrivals area, with the remaining projects slated for completion by the end of the year.
The arrival zone went operation on September 15, constituting some 65 percent of the total project valued at 18 million euro.
The airport is also now starting work on a new runway to attain CAT III B standards. This project was won by Strabag after a tender, and will be completed before the end of the year, too.
Further plans include the setup of a new Logistics Center including a cargo terminal.
