SEP 16, 2005 (newstodate): On September 15, British Airways World Cargo announced that it would suspend an imminent increase in its fuel surcharge.
The airline's fuel index has risen to a level that would have triggered a rise to GBP0.37/kg.

The suspension will be reviewed weekly and BA World Cargo reserves the right to change this decision at any time, the company says in a release.
