SEP 13, 2005 (newstodate): New Spanish low cost carrier, Air Andalucia is targetting the start-up of "some" of its planned routes by the end of this year, with a more extensive route network to be launched in 2006.
-We are in the process of finalising details with our new owners, and a public announcement may be made within the next 30-45 days, says a company spokesman.
He also confirms that among the destinations considered, Odense Airport in Denmark is still included and considered a viable destination with "lots of potentials".
The airline has earlier aired its intentions to start low-cost Airbus A320 operations on a route network with Granada, Spain, as its hub, offering flights to and between London-Kent International and Odense, Denmark, on a twice-daily basis.
Earlier plans called for a start in spring 2005, but a launch date has since been repeatedly delayed.
