AUG 01, 2005 (newstodate): From November 1, Thai Airways International will start operations on its new route from Bangkok to Moscow.
The airline will operate at Moscow Domodedovo Airport with three weekly flights, using Airbus 340-600 aircraft.
In June, the airport was certified by the Federal Aviation Transport Agency of the Russian Federation to handle this aircraft type.
Thai Airways will become the airport's 15th scheduled foreign airline.
In March and April, Thai Airways received its first two Airbus 340-500 aircraft, with another two Airbus 340-500 aircraft delivered in June and July.
