AUG 17, 2005 (newstodate): On August 18, the Steering Committee responsible for the privatisation of the Slovak airports Belgrade and Kosice will meet to assess the situation and register the potential bidders.
August 15 was the deadline for interested parties to request the tender material and file the initial interest in the process.
As in other tender processes the bidding parties are not permitted to disclose their identity publicly, but the Steering Committe may decide to publish number or names of the cmpanies and group that have come forth in the tender process.
So far Vienna Airport has, however, aired its interest in participating in the tender for Bratislave Airport while still considering whether to go for Kosice Airport as well.
