AUG 10, 2005 (newstodate): The Hungarian state privatization agency APV now confirm that 10 bidders have officially been registered for participation in the tender process for Budapest Ferihegy Airport.
The agency will now scrutinise the bids and select the participants in the second and decisive round for 75 percent of the airport's shares.
Bidders are a Spanish investment consortium, the British BAA, Copenhagen Airports, Fraport and Deutsche Bank, Aeroporto di Venezia and investment companies, Macquarie Airports Holdings, Ferrovial Infraestructuras and Goldman Sachs International, Hochtief AirPort and Hochtief AirPort Capital, and the Turkish Tav Tepe Akfe Ventures.
