AUG 0, 2005 (newstodate): AirBridge Cargo has announced its intention to start a new freighter service connecting Amsterdam and Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.
The service will be operated thrice weekly with the carrier's Boeing 747-200F.
The new service will target the blooming export volume of flowers to Russia flown into Amsterdam. This traffic currently has a value of one billion USD, and Amsterdam provides between 60 and 80 percent of all Russian flower imports.
