AUG 09, 2005 (newstodate): Lithuanian Airlines that just sucessfully completed its privatisation process has added two more Boeing aircraft to its fleet.
Driven by plans for its route structure development, and to facilitate the future expansion, Lithuanian Airlines has added two Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
With this latest expansion the carrier operates a fleet comprising five Boeing 737-500 and one Boeing 737-200.
The airline also has one Boeing 737-200 aircraft that is not being operated.
During the first half of this year, Lithuanian Airlines lifted a total of 680.6 tonnes of air cargo, up 6.4 percent on last year, including 130.3 tonnes of export air cargo that grew by 39 percent.
