AUG 31, 2005 (newstodate): On August 29, Ashgabat-based Turkmenkhovayollary, Turkmenistan Airlines received its eighth Boeing 717 aircraft.
The carrier's aircraft fleet now comprises seven Boeing 717, four B757-200, three B737-300, and one Boeing 767-300 aircraft dedicated to presidential and other state VIP purposes.
According to sources, the carrier plans to take up to 20 more Boeing aircraft to meet the recommendations by the development program for civil aviation till 2020.
