AUG 01, 2005 (newstodate): With effect from next summer's program, Finnair plans to add a new route between Helsinki and Geneva.
The route will be served daily with the airline's new Embraer 170.
The airline has ordered a total of 12 Brazilian Embraer aircraft, with the first to be delivered in September this year. In addition, Finnair has options for a further eight aircraft.
Other new routes announced by Finnair during this summer include new destinations Edinburgh and Krakow, to be launched by next spring.
